Carolyn Marie Stone

Carolyn Marie Smith Stone, 80, Born July 13, 1942, on her mother’s birthday, passed away November 27^th, 2022, surrounded by her family.

She was married to Robert C. Stone and has three daughters.  Kristie Larsen (Randy), Karen Lester (Tom), Lisa Gleed (Matt).  She also has many grandchildren and great grandchildren that she adores.

Our Mother worked in the public for years at First Security Bank, where she retired.  She couldn’t stay away so she went back part time to Lewiston State Bank for a few years.  She was great at what she did and well respected in the community.

She was a woman of service, who was always looking out for others without being asked.  Whether it be taking food to neighbors, friends, or just a visit.  She was always there for anyone at any time.

Her greatest joy was her family.  She enjoyed family dinners, shopping on weekends (or weekdays!), going on a drive with her bestie, or just being at home snuggled in a minky blanket. As long as it was with her family, she was happy.  One of her favorite past times was making holiday candy for her family which was no small feat, but we all loved her treats.

She was a friend to all, even the younger generation.  As she got older, she became known to all as “Granny”.  And oh Granny, how you will be missed but never forgotten. 

Services will be held Thursday, December 1^st, 2022 at 12:00 p.m.  at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 S. 800 E. Preston, Idaho. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Downey Cemetery.  Memories and condolences can be shared with the family at webbmortuary.com
