Carol "Ray" Whitehead

Carol "Ray" Whitehead, was born on June 9, 1939, to Ernest and Verda Whitehead. He passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024, at the age of 85. Ray is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Pat, and his son, Todd Ray. He is also survived by his siblings Armond, Vincent, Velma, Karen, Colleen, Kathy, and Debbie.

Ray was a grandfather to numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who will miss him deeply. But none will miss him more than his Mini Schnauzer Scooter. He was preceded in death by his beautiful daughters, Denise Irene Honey and Shawnia Rae Pixton, granddaughter Jessica Carol Honey as well as his siblings Jane, David, Michael, Mark, and Robert.

Ray proudly served as a veteran of the United States Air Force, dedicating a portion of his life to the service of his country. Following his military service, he worked for the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office, where he was known for his commitment and integrity. He loved everything about cars. His passion for building cars was only outweighed by his passion for driving fast. He loved a good car show and greatly respected those that "built his own.

" Ray's life was marked by his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and his love for animals, which brought him great joy throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A graveside service will be held in his honor Thursday December 5, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Clifton Idaho Cemetery.
