PRESTON, IDAHO CARL H. ANDERSON
PRESTON- Carl Henry Anderson, 87, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2009, at the Heritage Home in Preston surrounded by his family. He was born February 27, 1922, in Clarkston, Utah, the son of Carl Joseph and Mildred Henry Anderson.
He served his country in the Army during World War II. He married Phyllis Booker on Dec. 27, 1954, in Elko, Nevada. She preceded him in death in 1985.
He was a lifetime member of the BPOE Preston Elks Lodge serving on the Board of Trustees. He was a car salesman in Preston for many years. He also farmed and owned and operated Triple A Storage in Preston. He had a wonderful sense of humor and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by two daughters, Carlee (Bob) Hansen of Riverdale, Idaho; Tracy Reeder of Preston; five grandchildren, Kim (Skyler) Gilbert of Preston; Major Hansen of Salt Lake City, Utah; Mike (Anna) Earley of Beaverton, Oregon; Joey (Jessica) Anderson of Tucson, Arizona; Cole Reeder of Preston; and by five great-grandchildren, Connor, Brinlee, McKaydee, Kameelah, and Ryker. He was preceded in death by his wife, by a sister, Shirley Rasmussen and by a brother, Vern J. Anderson.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Preston Elks Lodge in Preston, Idaho. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston, and Wednesday from 9-10:15 a.m. also at the funeral home. Military rites and interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
