Roy, Utah Calvin "Bud" Christian ColeCalvin "Bud" , 81; of Roy, Utah passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008 in Ogden, Utah. He was born August 25, 1926 to Rudolph Christian Jensen and Ethel Deborah Jensen in Brigham City, Utah. He spent his childhood in Brigham City, but moved to Preston, Idaho when he was 11, afterhis mother remarried. His step father, Clorence Osro Cole later adopted him. He grew up loving to hunt and fish. He was also known as a feisty scrapper. He raised animals and enjoyed working his farm for most of his life. He married Nola Rogers February 15, 1950 in the Logan, UtahLDS temple. He worked most of his adult life for Utah Power and Light Company. Nola and Calvin served several missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After 47 years of marriage, Nola passed away. He later married Kathryn Arnold on November 27, 1998 in the Bountiful, Utah Temple. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn andhis brother Dallas Cole of Knights Landing, CA, hissons Roger and Jody Cole of Gresham, OR., Gordon and Lori Cole of Caldwell, ID., Sheryl Rex Cole of Caldwell, ID., Earl and Nancy Cole of Rigby, ID., Darin Day of Grover, WY and his daughters, Ruth and Glen Bair of Ephrata, WA., and Beverlee Cole of Ogden, Ut,and his step sons, Randy Arnold of Louisville, KY., Michael and Sherilyn Arnold of West Jordan, Ut., Dale and Anna Arnold of Las Vegas, NV., Mrs. Elaine Arnold of Charleston, Ut., numerous grandchildren and great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Nola, brothers Gordon and Boyed Jensen, and Rex Cole, his son-in-law, Monty Ellsworth, granddaughter Anna Judd and step-son Kim Arnold.Services will be held on Monday, March 17, 2008 at the Country Lane Ward, Roy West Stake Center (5080 South 3100 West, Roy, UT.) Family will meet with friends on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church and on Monday morning from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Burial will be in the Lewiston Cemetery in Lewiston, Utah. Services are under the direction of the Webb Funeral Home.
