Bruce David Naylor

Clifton, Idaho - - - Bruce D. Naylor

Clifton - Our father Bruce, who for us, words cannot adequately and thoroughly describe our friendship, love, and admiration, passed away early on the afternoon of December 31, 2013 from complications of heart disease. We're not quite sure, nor are his treating doctors why his little heart decided to quit. We believe he and his heart loved everyone and everything this life offered them so much, that they forgot to save a little of their love and strength for themselves to carry on. For all of you that know our dad, you know this to be true.

He was born July 23, 1942, in Midvale, Utah, to David Joseph Naylor and Lillian Irene Albanese Naylor. He married Sharon Elaine Smelts, the love of his life twice. The first time on May 21, 1963, in Elko, Nevada. The second time for time and all eternity January 8, 1980 in the Logan temple.

Bruce loved life. He especially loved life in all its motorized forms. From enjoying the beauty and bounty of our Father in Heaven's snow covered creations with his wife and good friends on snowmobiles; to riding through the Yellowstone park or the beautiful canyon lands of southern Utah with his girlfriend and wife of 50 years with dear, dear friends and family on their motorcycles. Bruce loved being a father and husband more than anything else on this earth. Above all, he cherished the work of the eternities that he was fortunate to participate in along side of his eternal bride in the Logan Temple. Bruce loved the beauty of the Cache Valley, the rows of crops grown long ago, the smell of fresh cut hay, the sounds of sprinklers, and rubbing shoulders with friends and neighbors.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Sharon, his children, Sheryl Kristin and husband Brian Kimball, Brett David and wife Danielle Naylor of Preston, Idaho and Rachelle Leigh (Sparkle) and husband Guy Ebanez, of Clifton, Idaho. Grand children; Dirk, Brooke, Ashley, and Trace Coats, Laci, Zachary, Malorie and Wiatt Kimball. Blair (Naylor) and Jeremy Burns, Stefan, Adrian, Nelson, Leighton, and Liam Naylor. Josh, Jantz, and Lillia Ebanez. Great grand children; Jayden Coats, Crew, London, and Hollis Burns. Sister Carol Helen Naylor and Tina Larkins. Brother Paul Roy Naylor and Dean Bannon, and a brother-in-law Mike Eldridge. Bruce is preceded in death by his parents David and Lillian Naylor, his sister Janet Beth Eldridge.
