PRESTON, IDAHO - - BROOKS MARTIN

PRESTON- Brooks Scott Martin, 32, passed away on Nov. 19, 2011, at the Bryan LGH Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska of natural causes. He was born Nov. 21, 1978, in Logan, Utah, the son of Scott Dee and Vicki Lynn Sohn Martin. He grew up in Preston and graduated from Preston High School in 1997.

Brooks enjoyed spending time with family and friends and had a great love for golf. He enjoyed his career as a commercial HVAC installer.

He is survived by his parents, Scott and Vicki Martin of Preston; by a son, Jorde Hansen of Pocatello, Idaho; a brother, Matt Martin of Auburn, Nebraska; a sister, Holly (Ben) Nielson of Plain City, Utah; a grandmother, June Butterfield of Preston; a grandfather, John B Martin of Preston; by nephews, Andrew, Alex and Jacob Nielson; by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and by his friend, Megan Goddard. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Fern S. Martin; his grandfather, Carl Sohn Jr.; an uncle, Barry Sohn; a cousin, Jerry Biggs; and by a step grandfather, Jack Butterfield. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at 12:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home's new facility, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho.
