Avalon - Brenda Fae Stones Mickelson Smith, 59, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2013 after complications from surgery.
She was born in Downey, Idaho on September 22, 1953 to Barbara Thompson and Ben J. Stones. She married Jerry Jeppsen and they were later divorced. She then married Delmas Smith. She lived in Grace and Soda Springs, Idaho; Plain City, UT; and Kempner, Texas.
Brenda is survived by her husband Delmas Smith of Avalon, TX; Jeanne Jeppsen (Chad) Rust, of Gatesville, TX; Noelle (William) Blain, of Avalon, TX; four grandchildren Kodeelane Rust, Garrett Rust, Jessica Rust, and Phoebe Blain. She is also survived by her mother Barbara Mickelson, of Grace, ID; and her siblings Scott (Kari) Mickelson, of Pocatello, ID; Antone (Kelley) Mickelson, Yakima, WA; Marty (Dianne) Mickelson, Lewiston, UT; Marsha (Phillip) Warren, Jerome, ID; Betty (Jed) Fellows, Preston, ID; Blair (Laura) Mickelson, Melba, ID; Sarah (Wade) Hansen, Lancaster, OH; Arlen Mickelson, Preston, ID; Marlowe (Noel) Mickelson, of Grace, ID. She was preceded in death by her father Ben J. Stones, a step father Riley L. Mickelson, and a brother Brian J. Stones.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston, Idaho. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10-11:30 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Downey Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
