FRANKLIN, IDAHO BRADY DURRANT
FRANKLIN- Brady Ray Durrant, 41, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011, in Ogden, Utah from complications of pneumonia.
He was born June 23, 1970, in Logan, Utah, the son of Darvel Ray and Marilyn Porter Durrant. He grew up in Franklin where he was a constant companion to his dad and brother, Brian. He loved all sports, whether playing or watching them. He spent his summers playing softball and golf. He was an avid Oakland Raiders fan. Some of his best memories were traveling to Denver with his best friend, Jeff Pope, to see the Raiders play the Broncos. He had a love of the outdoors. He enjoyed going to Jackson Hole and rafting the Snake River. He also loved camping and riding four-wheelers. He was employed with Lundahl Iron Works.
Brady loved spending time with his nieces and nephews. They all loved Uncle Brady. They will miss his laughter and teasing. He had a nickname for all of them that was special to them and only Uncle Brady would call them by those nicknames. He had a wit and a constant smile. You wouldn't be around Brady long but what he would have you laughing until you cried.
He is survived by his mother, Marilyn, of Franklin; three sisters and one brother, Terri (Stan) Schnell of Wellsville, Utah; Angela (Mike) Murdock of Franklin; Brian (Kelly) Durrant of Smithfield, Utah; Natalie (Jason) Smith of Franklin; by his best friend, Jeff (Sheila) Pope of Whitney, Idaho; and by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Darvel Durrant; by his grandparents, Elmer and Bessie Porter and Orval and Julia Durrant; and by a niece and nephew, Porter and Riley Durrant.
