LOGAN, UTAH - - BOYD JEPSEN
LOGAN- Boyd Thomas Jepsen, 48, passed away Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at the Logan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Logan. He was born March 13, 1960, in Preston, Idaho, the son of Lafe J. and Rayma Long Jepsen.
He served an LDS mission to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he made many lifelong friends. He married Karen Strong on June 25, 1982, in the Logan Temple. They were later divorced. He worked for many years at E.A. Miller.
He is survived by two daughters and two sons, Jessica Jepsen of Smithfield, Utah; Kyle Jepsen of Smithfield, Utah; Derek (Kimmi) Jepsen of Logan, Utah; Ashely Jepsen of Smithfield, Utah; two grandchildren, Kira Jepsen and Tayeshin Anderson; his parents, Lafe and Rayma Jepsen of Preston, Idaho; three brothers and two sisters, Lynn (Kathy) Jepsen of Fairview, Idaho; Denis (Raelene) Jepsen of Franklin, Idaho; Beverly (Greg) Karren of Lewiston, Utah; Wayne (Marie) Jepsen of Oakley, California; and Alison (Jeremy) Jensen of Preston, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, in the Preston Third Ward Chapel, 155 N. 2nd W., Preston, Idaho, with Bishop Leonard Ward conducting. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E. Oneida, Preston, and Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Mapleton, Idaho Cemetery.
