Bonnie Gail Maxie Price, 63, passed away peacefully early Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, in Arco Idaho after valiantly enduring a 7yr battle with cancer. Bonnie was born in Bismarck, North Dakota December 22, 1949 to James E. and Cora Nordby Maxie. Bonnie's family relocated to Malta, Montana where she received her elementary and secondary education. Bonnie graduated from Montana State University in 1971 at the age of 21 with credentials as a Registered Nurse specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. Bonnie married Eddie L. Price April 8, 1972 they lived in Havre, Montana, Pocatello and Acro, Idaho.
Bonnie was an excellent nurse who was passionate about helping others. She worked at Pocatello Regional Hospital, Lost River Hospital, and the State Hospital in Blackfoot.
Bonnie enjoyed the outdoors. She especially loved being with her family while boating, camping, hunting, fishing, and gardening.
She was an accomplished mother to her two children Jason and Dietra and her step-children; Melanie, Ed, Kevin, Rod and Laura. She led by example at home when she sewed, cooked, cleaned and taught the life skills her children needed to be independent. She was an astounding example.
She is survived by her husband, parents, siblings, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her step-son Kevin.
Services will be held in her honor at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 5 at the Blackfoot 4th Ward Chapel 520 North Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot, Idaho. A visitation will be held one hour prior.
