Beverly Jepsen Karren

Lewiston, Utah- Beverly Jepsen Karren, 65, passed away on July 2, 2015 at her home in Lewiston surrounded by her family.  She was born May 11, 1950 in Preston, Idaho the daughter of Lafe and Rayma Long Jepsen.  She married Greg H. Karren in 1972 in the Ogden Utah Temple. Together they raised ten children (eight girls and two boys). 

She was always a very hard worker and was often found working outside in the garden and flower beds.  She spent a lot of time canning and bread making.  She loved to listen to music and read. 

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and willingly served in various callings in her ward.  She was serving a mission with her husband at the Conference Center in Salt Lake City which she really enjoyed.  At the time of her death, she was fighting a courageous battle with gall bladder cancer.  She cherished her family and never turned down a chance to help any of her children or grandchildren.  She has a special place in each of their hearts and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Greg of Lewiston; eight daughters and two sons, Candaleria (Dan) Williams of Rexburg, Idaho; Lesia (Robert) Atkinson of Franklin, Idaho; Marsha (Chris) Dockstader of Nibley, Utah; Andrea (Bart) Young of Soda Springs, Idaho; Trina (James) Murray of Lewiston; Savannah (Aaron) Page of Vernal, Utah; Adam (Rachel) Karren of Lewiston, Utah; Shurlana (Dan) Hansen of Logan, Utah; Andrew Karren of Logan, Utah; Krista (Justin) Rowe of Mesquite, Nevada; forty grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, by her parents, Lafe & Rayma Jepsen of Preston, Idaho; by three brothers, Lynn (Kathy) Jepsen of Fairview, Idaho; Wayne (Marie) Jepsen of Brentwood, California; Dennis (Raelene) Jepsen of Franklin, Idaho; and by a sister, Alison Jepsen of Preston, Idaho.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Boyd Jepsen.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Lewiston 3^rd Ward Chapel, 16 S. Main, Lewiston, Utah with Bishop Troy Karren conducting.  Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 8^th East, Preston, Idaho and Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment will be in the Lewiston Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
