PRESTON, IDAHO - - BEVERLY HODGES

PRESTON- Beverly Jane Spackman Hodges, 70, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at the Franklin County Medical Center in Preston. She was born July 11, 1939, in Preston, Idaho, the daughter of Roscoe W. and Lillian Thelma Prudent Spackman. She married Roland Jay Hodges on Aug. 27, 1967, in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

She enjoyed gardening and was an excellent seamstress. She owned and operated Bev's Company, which manufactured and shipped bags and aprons all over the world.

She is survived by her husband, Roland Jay Hodges of Preston; four sons and two daughters, Paul J. (Dixie) Baird of Preston; Shelly Harris of Lynnwood, Washington; W. Justin Baird of Seattle, Washington; Robert Eugene Donnely of Phoenix, Arizona; Lisa (Richard) Stickler of Atascadero, California; Kim J. (Melanie) Hodges of San Antonio, Texas; twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, two sisters, Sharon Robinson of N. Ogden, Utah; Roslyn Jeppesen of Phoenix, Arizona; and by a brother, Joel (Terri) Spackman of Lewiston, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home's new facility, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, with Bishop Quinn Corbridge conducting. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. also at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Lewiston Utah Cemetery.
