Murray - Betty Marie Hendricks passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009. She was born October 30, 1929 one of 10 children to Cyrus Alvin and Anna Marie Anderson Spackman in Richmond, Utah. Betty married Roland Hendricks on April 28, 1950. They were the parents of four children, Mike, Tracy, Fred, and Shawn. He preceded her in death on April 26, 1981.

Roland and Betty raised their family in Brigham City, Utah where she worked for many years at M.H. King Company. The family spent the summers growing up at the family summer home in Island Park, Idaho, where they had a small timber business. She was an avid sports fan and loved to golf. She was a founding member of the Island Park Ladies Golf Association. Following her husband's death, Betty returned to Richmond to live near her family.

She is survived by her four children, Mike Tracy, Fred, and Shawn, five grandchildren Cameron, Elisha, H. Brandon, Joshua, and Kaylee and five great-grandchildren Hunter, Cooper, Jace, Tate, and Aiden. Also surviving is sister-in-law Laree Spackman. The end of a generation, Betty was preceded in death by her nine brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be held Monday, July 27, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. in the Richmond Cemetery, 350 North 200 East in Richmond. Friends and family may call at Webb Funeral Home, 109 E Oneida, in Preston, ID from 10:00-11:00am on Monday. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
