HYDE PARK, UTAH- Bessie Lee Tripp Tillotson, 83, former Franklin, Idaho resident, passed away peacefully on Feb. 19, 2013 surrounded by loved ones at her daughter's home in Hyde Park, Utah. She was born May 3, 1929, in Arimo, Idaho, the daughter of Leslie Tripp and Christine Martha Halverson Tripp.

She married the love of her life, Marvin Tillotson and their marriage was later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple. Bessie and Marvin had four beautiful children: John Tillotson, Lu Parkin, Randall Tillotson and Lesa Allison. They lived in Arimo, Idaho for several years and later moved to Franklin, Idaho to be closer to their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bessie enjoyed spending time with her family, eating fudge, old western movies, reading books, crossword puzzles, putting puzzles together, beating her grandkids at Yahtzee and watching her favorite game show "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?"

She became very close to her aide, hospice nurse and volunteers. If she was her and had more time to spend with them, she would personally thank them for helping her through the last few months. Her daughter, Lu Parkin, would also like to extend a special thank you to the aides, hospice nurse and volunteers for all of their assistance and love that they had given to Bessie for over the past year.

She is survived by her children, John (Vonda) Tillotson of Trenton, Utah; Lu (Hans) Parkin of Hyde Park, Utah; Lesa Allison of Ulm, Montana; eleven grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, by her son, Randall Tillotson and by her great granddaughter, Tavia Allysse Johnson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston, Idaho. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and Monday from 9-9:45 a.m. also at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Trenton, Utah Cemetery.
