Sandy - Our sweet, loving Mother, Grandmother and friend returned home on Monday July 26, 2010 at the age of 93. She was born August 19, 1916 in Preston, Idaho to Heinrich and Frieda Mockli and had 14 siblings. She married Dee Nelson and they were later divorced. She later married Elvin (Pat) Anderson, and they were later sealed in the Logan Temple.

She gave life to eight wonderful children whom she nurtured and loved. Sharon (Gary) Green, Logan; Merlene (Derald) Smith, Midvale; David (Donna) Nelson, Mesquite, Nv; Alona Ercanbrack, Salt Lake; Neil (Lynn) Anderson, Alpine, Wy; Keith (Robyn) Anderson, Weston, Id; Kimberly (Gary) Smart, Sandy, Ut. Her posterity includes 23 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren who cherish and adore her.

She has gone home to be greeted by her husband Pat Anderson and son Rodney (Claudia) Nelson, grandson Blaine Smith, granddaughter Anna Anderson, 3 great grandchildren and 12 brothers and sisters. She leaves behind a sister Ida Jorgensen and Ruby Pond.

Mother loved the outdoors and working in the garden, yard and flowers. The beauty of the hills and canyons enchanted her. She loved music and yodeled, played the harmonica, saxophone and guitar. Mother always took pride in her appearance. She loved children and started teaching primary at the age of 14.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 31 at 12:00 noon at Webb Funeral Home's new location at 1005 South 800 East, in Preston, Idaho. A viewing will be held Saturday from 11-11:45 a.m. at Webb Funeral Home prior to the services. Interment will be in the Weston Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Summit Hospice for their unconditional love and care of our mother, especially to her nurse Becky, and P.T Mike. Thanks also to a great friend and neighbor Genielle Orgill.

Her legacy will live on in each of those whose lives' she touched. You are loved and will be missed dearly.
