Idaho Falls, Idaho - - - Bernard L. "Bernie" Zoellner II
Idaho Falls, Idaho - Bernard Lawrence "Bernie" Zoellner II, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2010 at the Idaho Falls Regional Hospital. He was born on September 17, 1973 to Bernard Lawrence Zoellner and Cindy Harris in Saginaw, Michigan. At a very young age Bernie lost his mom. His dad remarried Janice Decuypere and he gained a brother and a sister. In 1976 they moved to Preston, Idaho where he grew up. Bernie attended Preston High School.
Bernie had a great passion for hunting and fishing and the great outdoors. He loved people and had a real zest for life. He was happiest when he was in the mountains. He had many great hunting and fishing trips with his best friend (his dad.) Bernie loved his nieces and nephews like they were his own children. He loved to buy them the loudest and most obnoxious things he could just to aggravate their parents. He was a big kid himself. There was never a time when you wouldn't receive a big Bernie hug. Bernie had a big heart and would always help anyone in need. You never doubted what a loyal friend he was.
Bernie worked a Pacific West Construction as a superintendant at the time of his death. He loved the challenge of building and took pride in the finished product.
Bernie is survived by his son, Kaden, his father Bernard, stepmom Jan, brother Jim Shepard, and a sister Shelli (Kody) Roholt, nephews Bryce (Kaylee) Roholt, James, Shepard, Wyatt Roholt, nieces Teradee (Trent) Echols, Chelsea Roholt, Tayler Shepard, Marley Shepard, Paige Roholt, Peri Shepard, and two grand nephews Nathan and Haiden Echols. He was preceded in death by his mother Cindy, and grandparents Harris and grandparents Zoellner.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home's new location, 1005 South 800 East in Preston, Idaho. a viewing will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
