Barbara Kaye Bosen Sorensen

Barbara Kaye Bosen Sorensen, 91, passed away October 25, 2024, in Preston, Idaho. She was born April 3, 1933, in Preston, Idaho, the daughter of Roy Howard and Ida Smart Bosen. She had many fond memories of growing up in Riverdale, Idaho.

She married Eugene Sorensen on January 26, 1951, in the Logan Temple. He preceded her in death on June 26, 2012. After Gene fulfilled his commitment to the service, they moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where they enjoyed hiking and skiing.

She was the co-manager of Preston Land & Title for many years where she made many friends. She loved reading, crossword puzzles and her cats. 

She is survived by two daughters, Andrea (Glen) Wright of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Lynda Jones of Providence, Utah; by four grandchildren, Brian Wright, David Jones, Christopher Jones and Nicolas Jones; by four great-grandchildren, Destinee Wright, Priyanka Jones, Aria Jones and Ryker Jones; and by two sisters, Carolyn (Ronald) John of Layton, Utah; and Bette Butler of Salt Lake City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; by a son-in-law, Dave Jones, and by two sisters, Catherine Bosen and Marilyn Williams. 

A short, graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in the Swan Lake Idaho Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at webbmortuary.com
