Preston, Idaho - - - - Anita M. Radcliff
Preston - Anita Marie Rhoads Radcliff, 69, resident of Preston Idaho, passed away Monday Oct. 3, 2011at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. Anita was born to William Leslie Rhoads and Ruby Anne Ivester on May 7, 1942 in Augusta Kansas. Anita married her high school sweetheart, Tom Radcliff on November 22, 1959, and were later sealed in the Oakland Temple. Tom and Anita moved to California where they lived until retiring to Preston Idaho in 2010.
Anita enjoyed music and singing. She was in her high school glee club, loved singing in church, and even learned to play the piano later in life. She and Tom were avid square dancers. She enjoyed family camping trips when her children were home. She did a lot of knitting, crocheting, and needlepoint. She also enjoyed charcoal sketching when she could get one of her kids to sit long enough for her to draw them. She loved scrapbooking and doing genealogy. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Preston 6th Ward. Anita loved to study and learn from the scriptures. The scriptures were her hidden treasure.
She is survived by her husband Tom Radcliff; son, Tom Radcliff, daughter Stacy Barton (Chris); son Tim Radcliff (Lorie); and son Joel Radcliff (Carolyn). Also her brother Ron Rhoads and sister Phyllis Wiseman, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren that love her with all their hearts. Anita was preceded in death by her mother and father, and granddaughter Aubrey Radcliff.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8, at 11a.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, in Preston, Idaho with Bishop Doug Larsen conducting. A viewing will be held Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery. Memories and Condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
