Preston, Idaho - - - Amanda Lynn Johnson (1980-2012)

Preston - Amanda Lynn Johnson, 31, passed away peacefully April 17, 2012 in Preston, Idaho with loved ones by her side after a life of medical tribulation. Born August 8, 1980 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Daniel and Diana Johnson.

Amanda was a glowing example of perseverance in the face of adversity. She made a genuine impact on anyone who had the blessing of spending time with her. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, fishing and embroidering.

She is survived by: parents Diana and Kenny Mylroie; brother Chance (Rachel) Randall; nephew Jack Randall; grandparents Dorothy Jackson, Milo and Coleen Randall; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Amanda is preceded in death by her grandfather Jim Jackson, an uncle Ronnie Inskeep, and and uncle Jimmy Inskeep.

An open house memorial will be held Friday April 20th at the Franklin Stake Center, 106 East Main Street, in Franklin, Idaho from 6:00-8:00 pm for Preston area friends and family. For the Moab area friends and family an open house will be held at the Old City Park, in Moab on Saturday April 28th from 2:00-4:00 pm.
