Mink Creek - Allen Seely Keller, 80, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Intermountain Medical Center. Allen was born on January 24, 1929 in New Haven, Connecticut to Allen Dudley and Margaret Eliza Seely Keller. He married Catherine Regina Cavanaugh in June 1958 in Worcester, Massachusetts. She preceded him in death on October 30, 1987. He later married Diane P. Repetto.

Allen loved to read and teach. He enjoyed being outdoors and hiking and exploring. He loved spending time with his family. He served in the US Army after WWII.

He is survived by his wife Diane, of Mink Creek; his children, Margaret (Jim) Compton, Douglasville, GA; Allen (Debbie) Keller, of Perry, UT; Torval Keller, of Littleton, CO; Patrick (Anne) Keller, of Littleton, CO; and Sean Keller, of Layton, UT; a step daughter Lottie Lyles, a step son Frank Robert Lyles, and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Catherine, and a daughter Colleen.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mink Creek LDS Chapel with Bishop Kent Egley conducting. A viewing will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the church in Mink Creek and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. also at the church. Interment will be in the Mink Creek Cemetery.
