Allan Ray Whitehead

FRANKLIN, IDAHO- Allan Ray Whitehead, 51, passed away on Aug. 28, 2015 in Preston, Idaho.  He was born Sept. 6, 1963 in Preston, Idaho to Allan C and Kathryn Strong Whitehead.  He attended school in Franklin and Preston.

Ray married Kelly Snyder in 1982.  They had three children:  Teri, Jamie and Blake.  They later divorced. He worked on road construction, heavy equipment and drove long haul.  He loved the lakes and mountains and went as often as he could with family and friends.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting.  Ray would get down on the ground and tease and roughhouse with the kids.  They all loved that.

He is survived by his children: Teri (Lex) Hightower, Jamie (Doug) Inglet and Blake Whitehead; his mother, Kathryn Whitehead; a sister, Jeannie Bell and by his grandkids, Lexi and Gaige.  He is preceded in death by his father, Allan C. Whitehead, his grandparents, Roderick & Fay Oliverson and Hoyet & Eva Whitehead.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Franklin Stake Center with Bishop Roy Yardley conducting.  Friends may call Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East, Preston and Tuesday from 11:30 a.m-12:30 p.m. at the stake center.  Interment will be in the Franklin Cemetery.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.webbmortuary.com
