Adelia Larson Cole

Adelia Larson Cole, 87, passed away on October 21, 2014 after many years of suffering from Alzheimer’s but never once losing her sweet and warm personality that always focused on service and love towards others.  She passed peacefully being surrounded by her family.    

Adelia was born to Ezra Arlen and Vernita Larson on September 9, 1927 in Preston, Idaho.  She met her sweetheart Wayne Cole while he was on leave during the war and dated after the war was over.   They were married on August 21, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS temple.  They raised five children, four beautiful daughters and one (#1) son.

Adelia is survived by her four daughters, Marylou Baker (Chris), Vicki Rasmussen (Greg), Debbie Hunter (Guy), Laurie Bird (Wandel), and son Daren Cole (Liz).  Adelia and Wayne are blessed with 17 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wayne, a sister Marilyn Doney, a granddaughter Misty Jo Hunter, a grandson Scott Rasmussen, and a son-in-law Wandel Bird.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 25^th 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Fairview LDS Chapel located at 165 W 4800 S Preston, Idaho with Bishop Kip Rawlings conducting.   A viewing will be held on Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 South 800 East in Preston and Saturday from 11:30 to 12:30 at the Fairview LDS Chapel.
